What we do

Three divisions, and what each does.

Three divisions, each with a defined scope, a typical shape of engagement, and a clear idea of who it is for.

  1. 01

    Altestra

    Strategy, carried through to change

Corporate governance, PMO and portfolio management, and change management, with the strategy, organization development and people work around them, for small and medium-sized enterprises and for government and semi-government entities.

Every engagement is sized to the maturity the organization actually has, through Altestra’s own method, and ends when the organization’s own people run the practice without help.

    Typical engagement
A diagnostic first, then the practice designed and run on real work in short cycles, each one checked and steered by the client’s decision-maker, until it holds and is handed over, on a timeline set by the size and complexity of the organization.
    Who this is for
Leadership teams that want the management side of a change to be as deliberate as the technology side.

  2. 02

    Keel

The infrastructure beneath, and its defense

Networks, servers, storage, cloud environments and the workplace that sits on them: designed, built, documented and kept running, with monitoring that reports a fault before a user does, and changes made in a controlled way, with a path back.

Enterprise systems and the automation between them. Selection, implementation, data migration, training and support for enterprise resource planning systems, scoped to what the organization can absorb. Approval flows, document handling, notifications and the integrations between the systems an organization already owns, so work stops waiting for a person.

Cybersecurity for all of it: assessment of what exists, hardening of what matters, monitoring that is actually watched, a response plan that has been rehearsed, and awareness for the people who are the first line of defense.

Digital transformation, carried through to the end: the automation of how the organization itself is managed. Requests, approvals, records, reporting and the hand-offs between departments move out of paper, email and memory and into systems that run them, so that the organization is managed through its systems and not around them.

    Typical engagement
An environment designed and built to the organization’s size and complexity, in short cycles, each one checked and steered by the client’s decision-maker, then run under a service agreement with agreed response times; or an assessment with a prioritized plan, then the plan delivered item by item, in the same short cycles.
    Who this is for
Organizations that have outgrown an informal setup and need their infrastructure, their systems and their security to be someone’s job.

  3. 03

    Plasis

SaaS and systems, shaped by use

SaaS and systems development: software products offered as a service, and the systems an organization runs on where an off-the-shelf tool does not fit. Specified with the people who will use them, built in short cycles, and handed over with documentation that matches what was built.

Web design: sites designed for the people who read them, written with the organization, built as fast, accessible pages that say what the organization does and let a visitor act.

    Typical engagement
A SaaS product or a system designed and built in short cycles, each one checked and steered by the client’s decision-maker, then maintained under an agreement or handed over to the organization’s own people; a website alongside it, or on its own.
    Who this is for
Organizations whose daily tools or public face no longer match what they do.

And Hermetecha itself

Hermetecha is the firm the divisions belong to. It takes every engagement and carries the corporate functions and the shared services the divisions draw on. If you do not know which division you need, write to us and we will put the right one in front of you.
